Angola is located in the southwest part of Africa. The state structure includes an enclave of Cabinda. In the western part Angola has an outlet to the waters of Atlantic Ocean.
Climate here is tropical and subequatorial. The mid-annual temperature fluctuates at a mark of + 21 °С. The season of monsoonal rains lasts from October till March, and the drought period is from April till September.
Modern Angola is the unitary republic which head of state is the president. The country is divided into 17 provinces.
The basic profit to the state is brought by oil extracting and accompanying branches. The agriculture and industries are in falling-off condition.
The main sights of Angola are connected with the nature. There are savannas, tropical woods and beaches of the Atlantic coast.
In Angola there are many national parks like Qisama, Cameia, Cuanza-Sul, Luende.
Cultural and architectural monuments practically absent in Angola, they have been destroyed during the long civil war. But on the territory of the country still live numerous primitive tribes which are unique itself and attract various expeditions to the country, including the tourist ones.
