Bundaberg - a city in Queensland. The city is approximately in 385 kilometres to the north from capital of the state, Brisbane. The city has been based in 1867. Farmers and Woodcutters were the first settlers. In 1868 about a city have constructed a power-saw bench. The city has received the name in 1880. Soon around a steel to grow up a sugar beet. And this kind of the industry became shortly dominating. Now besides sugar the city exports vegetables and fruit. Also the important place in a city economy occupies tourism. Bundaberg it is known as "Gate to the Big Barrier Reef". In the north the city has a 20-kilometre sandy beach. In area it is a lot of bats. From known places it is necessary to tell about a crater of the volcano filled with water. Bundaberg it is served by several Kvinslendsky passenger trains. Through a city passes also set of bus routes. In a city also there is an airport, carrying out air the message with Brisbane. Port Bundaberg is located in 20 kilometres to the northeast from a city, on the river Burnett. The port carries out transportation of the goods made in Bundaberg.

• Diplomatic Worker's Day (Russia)

This professional holiday was founded by the Decree of the President of Russia № 1279 from October, 31st, 2002 in commemoration of 200-year-old anniversary of Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
