Population: 5600 people.
Area: 14 km2.

Corowa - a city in the New South Wales. It is located on the bank of Murray River about border between the New South Wales and Victoria. There are 2 bridges through the river in Victoria. Approximately in 1843 John Foord and the person by name of Bould were the first researchers of territory. With development of river transport in 1850th years Foord has constructed on the bank of 2 warehouses. The post office the Corowa has opened on January, 1st 1861. In 1861 Anglican church the Anglican church on the earth offered John Foord has been constructed. In 1868 it was informed that the Corowa "quickly became one of the most important areas of border". Have the same year constructed shop, 2 hotels and a court building. In 1874 the bank has been constructed. The message of 1875 said that the Corowa as the small town "did fast successes". Today the city in the union with the next city Rutherglen has the Australian soccer team.
