Katoomba - a city in the New Southern Wales around Blue mountains. Katoomba is an aboriginal designating "bright falling water" or, simply speaking, falls. It is connected by that in area is a lot of falls. In a city the mining industry has initially been developed, but after time tourist business became dominating branch. The surrounding district is very picturesque. Many people come to admire mountain landscapes and to take a walk in mountains. In mountains there are rope-ways. In a city it is a lot of hotels, sanatoria and restaurants. In a city lives many artists, poets, defenders of environment.

• Diplomatic Worker's Day (Russia)

This professional holiday was founded by the Decree of the President of Russia № 1279 from October, 31st, 2002 in commemoration of 200-year-old anniversary of Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Among diplomats also there is a version, that Day of the diplomatic worker is celebrated on February, 10th as this day in 1549 there was earliest mention of the Ambassadorial Order, the first foreign policy department of Russia.
