Maryborough is a city located on the Mary River in South East Queensland, Australia, approximately 300 kilometres north of the state capital, Brisbane. The city is serviced by the Bruce Highway, and has a population of approximately 26,000 (2004). It shares a unique bond with its neighbour city Hervey Bay which is approximately 30kms north-east. Together they form part of the area known as the Fraser Coast, one of the country's fastest-growing regions.

From July, 6 till July, 14th in Pamplona is celebrated a holiday, devoted to St. Fermin, bishop living in ХIII century, who rescued Pamplona from plague epidemic. Being first purely religious, later the holiday has turned in colourful national celebrations.
