Wentworth - a small boundary city in the southwest of the New Southern Wales. Darling and Murrej is located in a place of merge of two most important rivers of Australia. Many times the city was flooded with these rivers. Local residents and the military men called to the aid have enclosed a lot of work in creation of dams from floodings. The border with the state of South Australia is approximately in 100 km on the West. The city is named in honour of the known researcher and politician William Charles Ventuorta.
