It is small European country, bordered by Netherlands in the north, by Germany and Luxemburg in the east and by France in the south and southwest. In the northwest it is washed by the North Sea. Belgium is one of the smallest European countries.
Belgium is a constitutional monarchy. The head of state is the king.
The winter is humid with average temperature around 0 °С. In summer its about +19 °С.
It is highly developed industrial country. Most developed sectors are agriculture, engineering, food industry ferrous and nonferrous metallurgy. There are many museums in Belgium, for example Royal Museum of Fine Arts in Brussels, Museum of Playing Cards in Tournai and also Museum of Bear, Museum of Birds and others.
Places of interest are Virgin Mary chapel, Ancient Arts Museum, Brussels Park, Arden Forest, Meunier Museum, Castle of Gaasbeek, Diamond Museum, Beginook Monastery, areas with XIII buildings and many wonderful things.
Famous resorts are Ostende, De-Panne, Knokke-Le-Zuut, De-Hann, Nuipoort, Oostdeinkerke, Coxiide, Zeebrugge, Vestende, Knokke-Heist. In the eastern part of the kingdom, not far from Liege is located the most famous Spa resort. Besides spa resorts, the city is famous for its springs of mineral water.

This professional holiday was founded by the Decree of the President of Russia № 1279 from October, 31st, 2002 in commemoration of 200-year-old anniversary of Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Among diplomats also there is a version, that Day of the diplomatic worker is celebrated on February, 10th as this day in 1549 there was earliest mention of the Ambassadorial Order, the first foreign policy department of Russia.
