Bulgaria is located on the Balkan Peninsula, in the southeastern part of Europe. From the eastern coast Bulgaria is washed by the Black sea.
The territory of Bulgaria is rather various: in northern part flows the Danube River. In the country’s central part there are Balkan Mountains covered with woods, and in the south there are fertile plains.
Climate in the country is moderate continental, and in the south of the country it is Mediterranean under the influence of the sea. The average temperature of January is -2 … +2 °С, in July it is +25 °С. Tourists come here to see ancient churches of Bulgaria, bright festivals, to visit popular resorts of Black sea (Gold Sand, Solar Coast, Balchik, Albena, etc.). Tourists tend to visit St George's Cathedral, built in fourth century, Alexander Nevsky's Cathedral, constructed in 19 century in honour of the lost Russian soldiers which have released Bulgaria from Turks. In Pirin Mountains there are Melnik pyramids and St. Nikolas’s church.
Considerable quantity of wineries and wine exhibitions has made Bulgaria the centre of "wine" tourism.
