The state of Burkina Faso is located in the western part of Africa. It is an inland state. Climate is subequatorial. The mid-annual temperature fluctuates from +25 °С to + 35 °С, depending on the area. Before the European arrival in Western Africa the tribes of the Mosi people lived there. Nowadays Burkina Faso is presidential republic. The country is divided into 30 administrative provinces. It is the agrarian country. The population is basically engaged in agriculture and cattle breeding. Also such cultures as cotton, sugar cane and olive palm tree fruits are cultivated. In the capital of Burkina Faso, the city of Ouagadougou, there is the biggest cathedral in the Western Africa and the palace Moro-Naba. In Burkina Faso there are some national parks. The main parks are Tambi-Kabore which is well-known for elephants and the Double V Park.
