The state of Burundi is located in the eastern part of Africa, at the northeast coast of the Tanganyika Lake.
Climate in the country is equatorial in the valleys of the rivers and near the lakes it is subequatorial. The mid-annual temperature fluctuates near the marks of + 22 … + 25 °С. Burundi is unitary republic which is divided into 15 administrative provinces. The head of state is the president. The basis of economy is agriculture. 50 percent of all territories are used as arable lands, and more than 36 % as pastures. Peasants grow up basically sweet potato, cassava, an olive palm tree, a cotton and tobacco. In mountain areas vegetable growing is developed. Near the Lake Tanganyika people are occupied in fishing.
The industry of the republic is developed poorly.
It is possible to carry to sights of Burundi some national parks like Ruzizi, Ruvuvu and Kivira and also the reservations of pygmies’ tribes.

From July, 6 till July, 14th in Pamplona is celebrated a holiday, devoted to St. Fermin, bishop living in ХIII century, who rescued Pamplona from plague epidemic. Being first purely religious, later the holiday has turned in colourful national celebrations.
