Alma is a village in Albert County, New Brunswick, Canada. The village is at the mouth of the Upper Salmon River, where it empties into the Bay of Fundy. Alma is the site of the headquarters of Fundy National Park, making tourism a major part of the local economy. Because of its close proximity to the Bay of Fundy, it is considered by locals to be the "Home of the Highest Tides in the World." Fishing, of lobster and scallops, is the other source of income.
