Brooks is a city in Alberta, Canada. Brooks was incorporated as a village on July 14, 1910, and as a town on September 8, 1911. It became a city on September 1, 2005 and is located 168 kilometres (104 mi) east of Calgary on the Trans-Canada Highway and 10 kilometres (6 mi) east of Highway 36. Brooks' population is 13,581.[citation needed] Brooks is serviced by the Brooks Airport.

From July, 6 till July, 14th in Pamplona is celebrated a holiday, devoted to St. Fermin, bishop living in ХIII century, who rescued Pamplona from plague epidemic. Being first purely religious, later the holiday has turned in colourful national celebrations.
