Cranbrook, British Columbia is a city in southeast British Columbia, seat of the Regional District of East Kootenay. As of the 2006 census the population is 18,267, spread over an area of 25.14 square kilometres for a population density of 726.5 persons per square kilometre. Cranbrook is home to the Canadian Museum of Rail Travel which presents static exhibits of passenger rail cars built in the 1920s for the CPR and in the 1900s for the Spokane International Railway. It is also the home of the Kootenay Ice, a WHL hockey team.

From July, 6 till July, 14th in Pamplona is celebrated a holiday, devoted to St. Fermin, bishop living in ХIII century, who rescued Pamplona from plague epidemic. Being first purely religious, later the holiday has turned in colourful national celebrations.
