Woodstock is a town in and the shire townGR6 of Windsor County, Vermont, in the United States. As of the 2000 census, the town population was 3,232. Woodstock has the twentieth highest per-capita incomes of Vermont towns as reported by the United States Census, and a high percentage of homes owned by non-residents. The central square of the town is referred to as the Green and is bordered by restored late Georgian, Federal Style, and Greek Revival houses. The cost of real estate in the district adjoining the Green is among the highest in the state. The public Woodstock Union High School & Middle School, serves students from Woodstock and surrounding towns.
