The Central African Republic due to its name is located in the central part of the African continent. In this republic there is the most remote point from coasts of Africa.
Climate is equatorial and subequatorial, monsoonal. In January the average temperature is +21 °С and in July it rises up to +31 °С.
The head of republic is the president. The country is divided into 14 prefectures.
Economically the republic is developed very badly. The economy basis is made by agriculture. Here peasants grow up such cultural plants as cassava, maize, ambercane, peanut and millet. For export they grow up cotton and coffee. The industry is generated by the factories of processing of agricultural production.
When the country has been proclaimed independent, the program on restoration of folk art and culture here has started. Nowadays the best products of handicraftsmen from CAR can be seen in the National museum.
The unique construction is located in the capital centre. It is a Triumphal arch, a monument to the empire of Bocassa cannibal tribes.
Also here there are many unique natural sights.
