Denmark is located in a northwest part of Europe on the Jutland peninsula and islands of the Danish archipelago. Climate is soft and moderate marine. The average temperature reduces to a mark of 0 °С in the winter, and rises to +15 … +16 °С in summer.
The power in Denmark belongs to the monarch who rules the country according to the constitution and to decisions of unicameral parliament which consists of 179 deputies. The main sights of Denmark are fortresses, historical monuments of architecture and picturesque cities and villages. In Copenhagen there are well known museum of the Ships of Vikings, Christiansburg Palace constructed in 18 century, Rozenborg Fortress and a Royal Arsenal Museum.
Hans Christian Andersen was born in Odense. Now there is a museum of the great storyteller and annually in honour of him in July-August here pass festivals.
Cronbeorg fortress which is in Helsinger is known as the place of action in Hamlet play and also this building the biggest in all the Scandinavia.
