Area: 45 km².

Soma Bay is a coastal resort on the Red Sea in Egypt, 45 kilometers south of Hurghada International Airport. The ten million square meters, self-contained community of Soma Bay is a peninsula surrounded on all sides by the sea. About 5 km in length and 2 km wide, the peninsula is accessed via a 7 km private road through a single controlled entry gate. Soma Bay features some of the best Red Sea diving with its house reef and a variety of nearby diving sites. The three resorts (Sheraton, Robinson Club and La Residence des Cascades) also have access to an 18 hole, par 72 championship golf course and golf academy designed by Gary Player. Soma Bay also features one of the largest spas and thalassotherapy centers in the region. Watersports are particularly popular due to the prevailing winds which are perfect for windsurfing, kitesurfing and sailing.

• Diplomatic Worker's Day (Russia)

This professional holiday was founded by the Decree of the President of Russia № 1279 from October, 31st, 2002 in commemoration of 200-year-old anniversary of Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Among diplomats also there is a version, that Day of the diplomatic worker is celebrated on February, 10th as this day in 1549 there was earliest mention of the Ambassadorial Order, the first foreign policy department of Russia.
