The Estonian republic is located in the Eastern Europe, in the northern part of the Baltic region, between Finnish and Riga gulfs.
The head of state is the president.
The climate in Estonia is northern but it is softened by Baltic Sea. Here it is soft winter with average temperature nearby - 7 °С, and in the summer it is about +16 °С.
Estonia is industrial and agrarian country. Such branches as mechanical engineering, chemical, wood-working industries, metal works, textiles are especially developed.
The most popular resorts are Haapsalu and Pjarnu. Here there are mineral springs and therapeutic muds.
Tallinn attracts tourists with the fortifications, towers and cathedrals. Church Oleviste amazes with the Gothic style and the set of museums presents the world of history (the State historical museum, the Sea museum, the Working cellar museum).
In «the Old city» are situated the Toompea Fortress, the Fortress of Narva Order and also many parks and reserves.
Subjects of national crafts, products from leather and antiques are the most known souvenirs for tourists in Estonia.
