Forssa is a town and municipality of Finland. It is located in the middle of a triangle defined by the three largest cities in Finland rssa is a town and municipality of Finland. Forssa is known for its annual big events like in the first weekend of August held Holjat Festival as well as car enthusiastists get together in Pick-Nick, the biggest event in Northern Europe. A tradition is also annual Suvi-ilta Maraton - the second biggest marathon event in Finland. A wonderful opportunity to run in a clean air and beautiful countryside. Suvi-ilta Maraton takes place a weekend before Midsummer. Horse trotting is very popular in Finland and in Forssa there is a relatively popular horse trotting track. The municipality is unilingually Finnish.

This professional holiday was founded by the Decree of the President of Russia № 1279 from October, 31st, 2002 in commemoration of 200-year-old anniversary of Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Among diplomats also there is a version, that Day of the diplomatic worker is celebrated on February, 10th as this day in 1549 there was earliest mention of the Ambassadorial Order, the first foreign policy department of Russia.
