Since mid-XX century, St Tropez in the French Riviera was the place to be seen. If you don't own a luxury yacht, there are cheaper options available. La Baume campsite in Frejus can be found on the edge of the Esterel Forest and it's just 40 kilometres from St Tropez. In peak season, the campsite is packed with over 5,000 people. At the hub of the site, there's a restaurant/bar area, football pitch, tennis courts, and a basic children's playground with a very large swimming pool.
