Guatemala is the most northern country of Central America. East coast of the country is washed by the Caribbean Sea and western by the Pacific Ocean.

The city of Guatemala (capital) has been formed in 1776 then it has received a name of New Dormition Guatemala. Schools, cathedrals, office buildings, monasteries have been constructed there, but these monuments of architecture have not remained at all as the city was often collapsed by earthquakes.
The city of Antigua Guatemala is the main tourist centre of the country. There are many buildings, palaces and churches which have been built in a Baroque style. This city is surrounded by volcanoes Serro de la Cruise, Fuego and Agua.
Along the coast of the country there are small resort cities. People there are always glad to see tourists.
