This country is located in central Europe. It’s bordered by Slovakia, Ukraine, Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, and Austria. This is parliament republic; the head of state is president. Legislative organ in Hungary is single-chamber Assembly. The Kekesh Mountain is the highest point of Hungary. The most famous lake is Balaton it is the biggest lake in Central Europe. Its environs are the largest resort area. Average temperature is - 1 °С in January, +21 °С in July.
This is agricultural and industrial country. Highly developed sectors are metallurgy, agriculture and engineering industry.
Hungary is one of the most beautiful places in the world. Here you can see the Palace Complex with temple, house of parliament (1896), and visit the Museum of Natural History which is full of antique Roman exhibits, items of the Bronze Age and Scythian culture. You can walk around Varsholiget Park, Tihan Park and Hortoved. Churches and cathedrals will appear before you and amaze you with their beauty and extraordinary history.
Hungary is famous for its’ mineral and thermal springs. In the north-west part of the country there are downhill skiing resorts.
