Iran is one of the biggest countries in southwest Asia. It is washed by Caspian Sea, Omani Gulf and Persian Gulf. It is Islamic republic.
The base of the economy is oil-producing and oil-refining industries. Sea fishery, livestock farming and sericulture play considerable role in peoples’ lives here. Average temperature fluctuates around +2 °С in January, around +29 °С in July. Kavir, Urmiya are the main National Parks.
The main sights are Bastan museum in Tegeran, Ceramics Museum, Shakhijad Tower. Tebriz objects of note are Blue Mosque (XIII), Citadel(XIV), Omar Khayyam’s Mausoleum in Neyshabur.
Winter sports’ fans can visit Dizin and Toshal resorts in a time from November till October. Also there is a sea resort named Kish.

Considering the important role of workers of tax service in development of a national economy and formation of incomes of the state budget, the President of Azerbaijan has decided to make February, 11th a Day of Formation of the Ministry of Taxes of the Azerbaijan Republic and to celebrate this day as a professional holiday of workers of tax service.
