Occhiobello is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Rovigo in the Italian region Veneto, located about 80 km southwest of Venice and about 25 km southwest of Rovigo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 10,533 and an area of 32.6 km². The municipality of Occhiobello contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Borgo Chiavica, Casazza, Gurzone, Malcantone, Pastureria, S.Maria Maddalena, and Vallice. Occhiobello borders the following municipalities: Canaro, Ferrara, Fiesso Umbertiano, Stienta.
