Peschiera Borromeo is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Milan in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 12 km southeast of Milan. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 21,146 and an area of 23.5 km². The municipality of Peschiera Borromeo contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Peschiera, Mirazzano, San Bovio, Bettola, Bellingera, Mezzate, Bellaria, Zelo, Foramagno, Plasticopoli, Canzo, and Linate. Peschiera Borromeo borders the following municipalities: Milan, Pioltello, Segrate, Rodano, Pantigliate, San Donato Milanese, Mediglia.
