Pino Torinese is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Turin in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 6 km southeast of Turin. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 8,586 and an area of 21.9 km². The municipality of Pino Torinese contains the frazioni (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Cento Croci, Strada San Felice, and Valle Ceppi. Pino Torinese borders the following municipalities: Turin, Baldissero Torinese, Chieri, Pecetto Torinese, Cambiano. It is the site of the Observatory of Turin, founded in 1759.
