The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is situated in the western Asia and washed by the Dead Sea. The head of state is the King.
Average temperature is from +24 °С to +30 °С in summer and from +8 °С to +14 °С in winter. The precipitations are rare enough here, except the period between May and October.
Jordan is agrarian country with weak economy. Just one-fourth fraction of population works officially. Basically people are occupied in agriculture, cultivation of fruits, grapes.
The country has many national historic landmarks. Also, according to Bible, it is land, where Christ was baptized.
Main sights are Fortress Mountain, Al-Kaf Palace(VIII), Byzantine Church, Museum of Archeology, Azrak National Park.
The city of Madaba is famous for its tiles of Christian buildings for public worship. The uniqueness of Dead Sea which is situated in Jordan will give unforgettable feelings. It’s the saltiest lake in the world. There are health centers and resorts around it, and also a Museum of Dead Sea.
