The state of Kenya is located in the eastern part of the African continent; in the southeast it has an outlet to the waters of Pacific Ocean.
Climate in all territory of the country is subequatorial. From April till May lasts the season of rains. The mid-annual temperature fluctuates at a mark of +26 °С. Kenya is the republican country in which the head is the president.
Kenya is the agrarian country. Here peasants grow up various kinds of food and export cultures like coffee, tea, corn, millet and others.
Kenya is considered the centre of tourism of tropical Africa.
Kenya differs from other African countries with the amount of various historical sights. The city of Llama, for example, has kept the shape of medieval Swahili settlements.
Near to Malindi in wood thickets there is a dead city of Gedi. It is declared the no-touch monument of culture. Also here there is an underwater preserve of sea fauna and coral reeves.
In a city of Nairobi there is Macmillan's Memorial library, the National museum and Sorsby Art gallery.

This professional holiday was founded by the Decree of the President of Russia № 1279 from October, 31st, 2002 in commemoration of 200-year-old anniversary of Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Among diplomats also there is a version, that Day of the diplomatic worker is celebrated on February, 10th as this day in 1549 there was earliest mention of the Ambassadorial Order, the first foreign policy department of Russia.
