The state is located in the Western Asia in the northeast of Arabian Peninsula. Bordered by Saudi Arabia and Iran.
Political system of the country is the constitutional monarchy. The head of the state is the emir.
The average temperature of January is +12 - +18 °С, in July - nearby +35°С … +40°С.
The economy basis is made by a petroleum industry. The country population is engaged in crafts, cattle breeding and oasis agriculture. Sandy deserts occupy the most part of all territory of the country. Underground waters are mineralized and soils are salted, therefore the shortage of sources of fresh water here is observed. In coastal waters of Persian Gulf people extract pearls which are considered one of the best in the world.
Al Kuwait is a unique large city where all the sights of the country are concentrated. The collection of archeological finds can be seen in the Kuwaiti National museum. «The great mosque», the Kuwaiti towers, the Centre of science on Golf-Roud is not less interesting, and also the Musical fountain and set of other interesting places will surprise with the uniqueness and beauty.
Hiyran is one of the best resorts of the country.

This professional holiday was founded by the Decree of the President of Russia № 1279 from October, 31st, 2002 in commemoration of 200-year-old anniversary of Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Among diplomats also there is a version, that Day of the diplomatic worker is celebrated on February, 10th as this day in 1549 there was earliest mention of the Ambassadorial Order, the first foreign policy department of Russia.
