The state of Kyrgyzstan is situated in the northeast of central Asia, between Pamir and Tian Shan mountain systems.
Actual government system is republic with a president as a head of state. Average temperature in January in valleys is near -4 °C, -27 °С in highlands. In July it’s +21 °С and +5 °С thereafter.
The base of the economy is agriculture, machine building, light and food industries. Alla Archa is a national park which presents natural beauty of the country. The Armenian Cristian church’s monastery of IV-V centuries is also attracts tourists’ attention. It stands on the Saint Nose cape. Perfect confitions for winter sports are created thanks to mountains on the 93 percent of state’s territory. Central Tian Shan will pleasure alpinism fans. Tengri-Tag, Khan-Tengri ridges, Victory pike are famous places of note too.
The most popular resorts are Issyk Kul, Issyk Ata, Kyzyl Bulak and Jalal Abad. Issyk Kul lake deserves special attension as the biggest and the most beautiful lake of the country.
