Federal states of Micronesia are located in the western part of Pacific Ocean. They occupy both central and eastern parts of Carolines and Kapingamorgagi atoll. The country consists of several states like Kosrae, Trooke, Jap, Ponpei. The Head of the state and the government is the president.
The mid-annual temperature is near +27 °С. From August till December it is the period when in some parts of Pacific Ocean typhoons happen nearly 25 times a year.
The economy basis is made by agriculture, animal industries, fishery, and also foreign tourism. Ruins of the ancient city (XIV century) are located on island Lelu and large number of caves and set of tunnels are on the highest point of island, on Lelu hill.
The main remarkable sight of the country is the unusual architecture of the stone city of Nan-Madol which is located on artificial islands at southeast part of the Ponpei coast.
The island Jap still keeps its exclusive system, when leaders and elders can challenge decisions of the selected officials. On Nukuoro atoll and also on other beautiful atolls it is possible to take a walk on coast, to look at beauty of the nature and also to have a rest in the hotel located on a pier.

Its origins are in Victorian times when children worked far from the house from a boy and the money earned by them were sent to the family budget. Only one day in a year children were allowed to spend together with parents. Usually they brought to mothers and grandmothers small gifts - bouquets of flowers or fresh eggs. Today British children give their mothers flowers and clean up the house.
