The climate is Mediterranean. Winter is damp, and summer dry. The economy basis is the financial activity, tourism and gambling industry.
Monaco is the centre of the international and tourist organizations and a place of carrying out of the international meetings.
The basic sights are the Museum of Old Monaco, the Oceanographic museum with an underground Aquarium, a wax museum, St. Charles's church (1883), the well-known casino of Monte-Carlo. An entrance to this casino is forbidden to the citizens of Monaco.
Also here there are medieval temples, a princely palace in style of the Renaissance. The Condamin is an area of a large quantity of banks and offices. Here it is possible to see the huge Market, St. Devota’s church and also to walk along the street of Rju-Prinsess-Karolin and to visit park Zhardin Exotic.
There is no airport in the country, therefore tourists arrive through Nice.
