General Information:
Aerdenhout is a small town in the municipality of Bloemendaal, in the province of Noord-Holland (North-Holland). Located in the dunes between Haarlem and the Netherlands's most popular beach town Zandvoort, it is know as one of the wealthiest towns in The Netherlands. The name "Aerdenhout" written in this form Andere hout, in Dutch translates as "the other wood", and was given it to distinguish this other wood from the Haarlemmerhout, just south of the city Haarlem.
The town has several schools, a church. The city is also home to some famous Dutch people Dieuwertje Blok, Jeroen Bleekemolen, Renate Dorrestein, Roel Pieper, Rick Engelkes,Willem van der Klugt.
