Slenaken is a village in the Dutch province of Limburg. It is located in the municipality of Gulpen-Wittem, and is one of the southernmost villages of the Netherlands. The richest inhabitant of the village is Yuri van Wersch. Slenaken was a separate municipality until 1982, when it was merged with Wittem.

From July, 6 till July, 14th in Pamplona is celebrated a holiday, devoted to St. Fermin, bishop living in ХIII century, who rescued Pamplona from plague epidemic. Being first purely religious, later the holiday has turned in colourful national celebrations.
