The Islamic republic Pakistan is located in the Southern part of Asia. It borders on Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran and India. Waters of Arabian Sea wash the country’s southern part.
The modern political system of the country is federal republic; the head of the state is the president.
The average temperature of January is +12 °С … 16 °С, and in summer it is about +30.. +35°С. Dusty storms are common for the plain part of the country because of the strong wind, heat and small quantity of precipitations.
Pakistan is the agrarian country. The agriculture, processing and mining industries, livestock industries and also handicraft crafts are especially developed.
In the most known Pakistan resort of Karachi that is located at the coast of Arabian Sea, there is a National museum of the country, Mohammad Ali Jinna's tomb, the Cathedral of the Sacred Trinity, the Silence Tower.
Lahore is a city where there is a tomb of emperor Dzhahangira (XVII centuries), and well known museum of Lahore which is the biggest in the country.
Sedar is well known for its markets. You can walk or travel by boat around Chitral and Svat. In Islamabad it is possible to have a rest on artificial Raval Lake and to ride on water skis.

This professional holiday was founded by the Decree of the President of Russia № 1279 from October, 31st, 2002 in commemoration of 200-year-old anniversary of Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Among diplomats also there is a version, that Day of the diplomatic worker is celebrated on February, 10th as this day in 1549 there was earliest mention of the Ambassadorial Order, the first foreign policy department of Russia.
