Palau is the small state in Oceania, located in the western part of Carolines. It consists of more than 200 small and 8 large islands of Micronesia.
Palau is a democratic republic where the head of the state is the president.
Average temperature is near +24 °С … +28 °С. The period from June till August is considered to be the period of tropical rains. Flora and fauna are very rich and various.
National economy basis consists of agriculture, fishery. Also people here are engaged in art crafts.
In Palau there is a National museum where it is possible to see a head of a 5-meter crocodile, money from shells and also exhibits of military Japanese technics from Second World War times. Other sights of the country are the Rocky islands that look like mushrooms. Underwater «Ngemelis wall» is one of the most beautiful reeves in the world.
One of «nature places» on the Earth is the island Nchingel. There are nor phones, neither the airport and cars. Inhabitants of this island make souvenirs of leaves. These souvenirs are very beautiful, it causes admiration, and such things are in improbable demand.

From July, 6 till July, 14th in Pamplona is celebrated a holiday, devoted to St. Fermin, bishop living in ХIII century, who rescued Pamplona from plague epidemic. Being first purely religious, later the holiday has turned in colourful national celebrations.
