The state Rwanda is located in East Africa. It has borders with Uganda, Tanzania, Burundi and Democratic Republic Congo. Climate is equatorial. The mid-annual temperature fluctuates from +17 to +21 °С. In the end of 19 century Rwanda has been colonized by Germany, united with Urundi and included in the structure of the German East Africa. After the end of the Second World War the country Rwanda-Urundi became part of Belgium. In 1962 Rwanda became independent and has received the status of the republican country. The head of republic is the president. It is divided into 10 prefectures. The basis of the economy of this republic is made by agriculture and a mining industry. In agriculture there are tea, coffee and tobacco branches. Among animal industries the pastoral cattle breeding prevails. Rwanda occupies one of the first places in the world by the number of HIV-infected people. Basing of different researches, the percent of infected people fluctuates from 50 to 90. On the territory of Rwanda there live representatives of the most tall and undersized nations. They are Tutsi, which average height is above 2 meters and the pygmies who are about 1,30 meters high.
