Molins de Rei is a municipality in the comarca of the Baix Llobregat in Catalonia, Spain. It is situated on the left bank of the Llobregat river, on the A-7 autopista from Valencia to La Jonquera and the main N-II road. The town preserves some remains of its former fortifications. The Recasens palace dates from the fifteenth century. Outside the town are the ruins of the Castellciuró castle, and the roman chapel of Sant Pere de Romaní.
