Sa Coma
Powered By Subgurim(http://googlemaps.subgurim.net).Google Maps ASP.NET

Sa Coma is a town on the eastern coast of the island of Mallorca. It is close to the towns of Cala Millor and Cala Bona in the municipality of Sant Llorenç des Cardassar. With its golden sandy beach, and a variety of Bars and Restaurants, catered towards the Spanish, the Germans and also the British, it is easy to see why Sa Coma is such a popular tourist resort, for those looking for a more relaxing holiday. It is about an hours drive to the capital of Palma and around 1 hour 20 minutes to the lively resort of Magaluf on the west coast of the island. In contrast with the resort of Magaluf, Sa Coma is more family oreintated, and in the evenings, entertainment is more hotel based, rather than in bars or clubs. Some of the shops in Sa Coma are tourist orientated, in addition to the sport shops, and duty free, there are 'Perfumerías' (Perfume Shops) and many local supermarkets. Including convenience stores and Main stream Spanish supermarkets, which tend to offer better value. There is also a Caprabo hypermarket within Sa Coma town. Many products in the supermarkets are imported from Tourists' home countries. The locals are friendly and a lot of them do give you a smile. Almost every shopkeeper, waiter or waitress will speak good English, but still, there are quite a few British shopkeepers, waiters and waitresses.

This professional holiday was founded by the Decree of the President of Russia № 1279 from October, 31st, 2002 in commemoration of 200-year-old anniversary of Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Among diplomats also there is a version, that Day of the diplomatic worker is celebrated on February, 10th as this day in 1549 there was earliest mention of the Ambassadorial Order, the first foreign policy department of Russia.
