This privately own- stylish Tudor-fronted hotel nestles comfortably in Cirencesters market place. A warm welcome in cozy surroundings of old beams and log fires has made The Fleece Hotel a popular meeting place for over three centuries. It offers 28 bedrooms each with TV- radio- telephone- modem point- ironing centre- trouser press- selection of hot drinks and room safes that holds a laptop. The hotels accommodation is delightful- and most bedrooms are generously sized twin or double bedded rooms. Family rooms are available on request. In addition to the traditional hotel bar and restaurant- there is also a high street brasserie 1651- which offers excellent food in stylish surroundings at sensible prices. During the summer the courtyard is just the place for al fresco dining. Cirencester is the Capital of the Cotswolds- and Cirencester has inherited many charming Cotswold stone buildings and is well sited for touring the Cotswolds. Stratford- Oxford- Cheltenham and Bath are all within easy reach. Cirencester is an ideal location from which to explore the Cotswolds.

The origin of the holiday is in antique times when the Bulgarian lands were occupied by the tribes of the Thracians. Thracians worshipped Dionis, the God of wine and grapevines, more than other gods.
