Ferndown is a town and civil parish in the East Dorset district of Dorset, England, situated immediately to the north of Bournemouth. The centre of Ferndown is some 7 miles (11 km) from Bournemouth railway station and 4 miles (6.4 km) from Bournemouth International Airport. The latest population figure (2005 mid year estimate) for the parish is 17,650. Ferndown has a relatively large elderly population (38.5% are aged 60 or above). On the outskirts of the town lie the Ferndown and Uddens industrial estates. Within Ferndown is the offices of the Stour and Avon Magazine (formerly Community Magazine) this is a free magazine which is out every Friday and boasts a readership of over 55,000 copies a week.

From July, 6 till July, 14th in Pamplona is celebrated a holiday, devoted to St. Fermin, bishop living in ХIII century, who rescued Pamplona from plague epidemic. Being first purely religious, later the holiday has turned in colourful national celebrations.
