On February, 16th, 1918 the Declaration on independence of Lithuania has been accepted.
According to Molotov-Ribbentrop pact, signed on August, 23rd, 1939, Lithuania was swallowed up by Germany. On September, 28th, 1939 this declaration was modified, and Germany has given Lithuania to Soviet Union.
