The state of Venezuela is located in the northern part of the South American continent. The country structure includes islands in the Caribbean Sea, the biggest one is Margarita.
In the northern part Venezuela has an output to the Caribbean Sea, and in the northeast to the waters of Atlantic Ocean.
Climate is hot subequatorial. The mid-annual temperature fluctuates between +25 and +29 °С. Seasons differ only in the presence or absence of deposits.
One third part of the territory of the country is savannas; other part is covered by the woods.
In Venezuela there are big deposits of manganese and diamonds, therefore economy is based on the mining industry. The agriculture is developed well enough; peasants grow up cocoa, coconut palm trees, sugar cane, bananas and citrus.
The small town of Cumana is well-known for it was the first settlement of Europeans in South America.
