Area: 1100 km2.

Caloundra is the most southern community at Solar coast in Southeast Queensland, Australia. Is near to the Brisben airport. There are railway and bus stations. In a local dialect, Caloundra means "the Place of Beechen Trees". Coast Bulcock and the main street Caloundra, Street Bulcock name in honour of Brisben politician Robert Bulcock. In 1875 he has bought 277 acres of the earth in this area. Its property also became a place on which there was a city later.
