Coffs harbour - the coastal city located at northern coast of the New South Wales approximately in 570 km to the north from Sydney and in 350 km to the south from Brisbane. The city has arisen in the beginning of 20th century as the important centre of manufacture of wood. Thereof the sailing charter for transportation of cargoes has developed. Now the city population constantly grows. It is considered that Coffs harbour has the most comprehensible climate in Australia. The economy is based mainly on agriculture (cultivation of bananas), tourism, and manufacture. The city is the largest centre of export of bananas. Now in Coffs harbour it is possible to get as on highway, and railway, water and air transport.
