Cowes - a city in staff Victoria. It is located in 2 hours' journey from Melbourn. It is located in the north of Phillip's island. The area was originally known as the Mussel Rock. Recently the city has considerably increased in the sizes. On a place of the former farmlands have constructed modern apartment houses. The main road of island (Thompson's Avenue) experiences difficulties in movement. In a city there is an Australian soccer team.
