The Grand Hotel Brno was founded in 1870 and boasts a long tradition of fine hospitality. It is situated in the historical centre of Brno, just opposite the Main Railway Station and close to the city's main sights and the Brno exhibition centre. A member of the WORLDHOTELS Comfort Collection, this refined hotel was fully renovated in 2006 and has 110 stylishly-furnished guest rooms over four storeys.

Its four conference and banqueting rooms can cater for up to 250 people and are ideal for seminars, cocktail receptions and private functions. The excellent Le Grand garden restaurant and Grand Café Bistro provide the perfect locations to relax and enjoy regional specialities as well as fine international cuisine. Sports and leisure facilities include a sauna and a fitness centre. Although it is the second-largest city in the Czech Republic, Brno is surrounded by picturesque countryside, providing a tranquil natural environment.

The origin of the holiday is in antique times when the Bulgarian lands were occupied by the tribes of the Thracians. Thracians worshipped Dionis, the God of wine and grapevines, more than other gods.
