Nusa Dua is a peninsula in the south of Bali. It is located 40 kilometres from Denpasar, the capital of Bali. There are many tourist areas in this area that consists of lime-coral stone, such as Jimbaran Beach and Garuda Wisnu Kencana. Nusa Dua beach is a popular place for kitesurfing. The area sucessfully hosted the 2007 United Nations Climate Change Conference between December 3 and December 14, 2007.
