Dorgali is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Nuoro in the Italian region Sardinia, located about 130 km northeast of Cagliari and about 20 km east of Nuoro. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 8,290 and an area of 225.0 km². The municipality of Dorgali contains the frazione (subdivision) Cala Gonone. Dorgali borders the following municipalities: Baunei, Galtellì, Lula, Nuoro, Oliena, Orgosolo, Orosei, Orune, Urzulei.

From July, 6 till July, 14th in Pamplona is celebrated a holiday, devoted to St. Fermin, bishop living in ХIII century, who rescued Pamplona from plague epidemic. Being first purely religious, later the holiday has turned in colourful national celebrations.
