Hyatt Regency Kinabalu is a 14 story highrise in the heart of Kota Kinabalu city overlooking the island-studded South China Sea. Features a 5 story atrium lobby in the heart of of the business, shopping and entertainment district. Hyatt Regency Kinabalu, Kota Kinabalu’s premier business hotel, has completed Phase One of its guestroom renovation project. Rooms on the 10th to the 14th floor of the hotel, including the Regency Club Lounge, the Presidential Suite, Regency Club rooms and suites have been transformed, giving them a “home-away-from-home” ambience furnished with soft neutral colours and natural-coloured textiles, as well as brand new furnishings that complement the eco-treasures of Borneo. Each room has extra large windows that allow natural lighting into the expansive 43sqm space; guests can also soak under the rain-shower for added luxury. All renovated rooms are outfitted with new bedding accessories and a 42-inch high-definition LCD television, along with a DVD player. The swimming pool will also be slated for renovation in the fourth phase of the renovation. Subsequent phases of the renovation will be completed in the coming months with the final phase being completed by the last quarter of 2010.
